When preparing for radiographs in the zoo field often much time and effort is spent getting the animal (awake or anesthesized) into the correct position for radiographs. Without a verbal cue to let us know when the detector is getting ready to time out, we frequently run into the issue of the detector going to sleep and not capturing the image. Many times we have unreliable signal and getting the detector and tablet reconnected can take up several minutes and slow down our procedures. Reading the manual, it sounds like this was a feature in previous iterations of the system but was discontinued. It would be extremely helpful to either get a cue when the detector timing out or option to extend the timer.
