In the event of specific modalities (i.e. IO) users may want to add certain specific tags to the overlay editor. eFilm allows this functionality by way of manually editing the config XML. Attached is an email from Dennis Ballance at VCA outlining this request.

"Progeny dental DR software produces IO images, and uses the 0040:0556 “Acquisition context description” tag to store the list of tooth numbers that were evaluated in the given image. This tag displays in the progeny software, but doesn’t display on AIS or in eFilm. I don’t recall anymore if eFilm allows its overlay text to be customized to include additional tags, but more to the point, does SmartPACS allow for this tag to be displayed, either in general or specifically for IO images?" -Dennis Ballance
