  1. Currently after 10 idle minutes in acquisition screen, the panel will go to sleep, requiring user input to wake it up. Being able to extend this timer would help clinics that regularly go over time when setting up the patient.

    Thank you for the feedback and the request. The panel sleep timer will now take 30 minutes to elapse, up from 10 minutes. All other behavior surrounding this feature continue to remain the same. It's available in SmartDR v4.2 only and it'll be available in SmartDR v3.9 soon.   2. We are an exotics practice and have many patients we enter the weight in grams. This has become an issue with being able to have our Avimark charges enter in our patients through the worklist.

  4. When entering a patient's information, it would be helpful if we could just hit the return/enter key on the keyboard (since we're already on the keyboard), INSTEAD of having to go up into the screen to hit SEARCH.

  5. Sites want the option to change what required information is needed when adding patient. for example, one site would want to have the DOB as a required field to fill in before patient can be created

  7. Please add a field for microchip. This seems absolutely ridiculous that with the amount of money we pay for these systems and services that we have to images download and go to an antiquated program like paint to add a text field for microchips when OFA requires this info on images.

    Thank you for the feedback. This feature is now available in our latest release of SmartDR v3.9 and v4.2. There is a second patient ID that you can input the microchip information when creating a patient.

    Thank you for the feedback. This feature is now available in our latest release of SmartDR v3.9 and v4.2. "Move Study" allows you to move a study of acquired images to another existing patient.

  9. A Dicom queue so you can check in detail on the status of images that are sending and whether they are pending, actively sending, completed or failed.

  12. extremity abbreviations in the program are a bit confusing. I have not personally seen the abbreviations CDCR or CRCD typically used in radiology software. lt would seem more appropriate terminology for an extremity if indicating towards or away from the body). Standard abbreviations much more typically used are AP / PA and think this is more universally understood

  15. Make a report available to report on Rejected Images. Ability to request by date range, PID, etc. Able to sort on reported data if possible.

  17. If a patient has already been created in the system, and I attempt to create that patient again, the software just tells me that the patient has already been created. I have to exit the add patient screen, and then search for the existing patient. I would like the option to simply add a new study to the existing patient directly from the add patient screen.

    This option is now available on the latest version of SmartDR (V 3.8 MR3). In the Setup you can select Config and Intermediate Options. Click on Default Species and select None from the drop down menu. When you create a Patient, Species is highlighted in Red and a required Field to be selected. Please contact our Customer Support Team (1-800-819-5538) if you need assistance.
