  1. SmartPACS Audit Log - Default to showing the last 24 hours.

    When the Audit Log initially loads it can take some time to pull up. If the system was set to load only the logs of the last 24 hours, it could load faster and allow users to interact with the filtering sooner.

    This feature is available in SmartPACS 2.0. The logs have been set to the last 2 weeks instead of last 24 hours. If you do not yet have access, please reach out to Customer Support and we will help get your SmartPACS updated.

  2. Make Smartpacs turn on automatically after a power failure

    Set the SmartPACS (ML340) hardware to automatically turn back on when a power failure happens. Currently, the SmartPACS have to be physically turned on in the event of a power failure

  3. Change Vertebral Heart Score Thickness to 4

    The lines and dots on the VHS are too small. Can we have the VHS thickness default to 4 as this how all customers want to see it.

    The VHS tool was updated to use lines instead of dots.  The lines improves the visibility of the measurement.  This has rolled out to all systems via Automatic Update.  If this is not available on your system, please contact Sound Customer Support for assistance.

  4. Priority Field for Auto Route DICOM Devices

    If auto routing to a local and cloud DICOM device, SmartPACS will teeter-totter between both devices and make the local DICOM take as long as the cloud device. Would like there to be a prioritization capability for the DICOM devices so the user can select which device should be first.

  5. Add 3D rendering ability into SmartPACS. Currently only available on AIS.

    Give SmartPACS viewer the the 3D rendering currently available through AIS Viewer.

  6. Dropdown entry for Modality search

    Create a dropdown menu for modalities when advance searching in SmartPACS. This will help to correct for spelling errors and to ensure consistency when searching.

  7. AIS download of images as JPEG's should add the information from the overlay. An image without identifiers is ilegal.

  8. Please allow the hospital/practice name to appear in the overlay information when images are exported to local as JPEG's.

    Need practice name on all images when exporting as a JPEG.

  9. SmartPACS Favicon

    It was noted that there is no favicon / browser icon set for SmartPACS or the SmartPACS Viewer.

    This should be the Sound logo as displayed on http://apps.soundvet.com/smartpacs/
    We will need this included in the 1.7 patch release.

  10. Overlay burned into JPG images is not the same as the Viewer Overlay

    While working through a concern, it was noted the Overlay that is burned in during the Export, Local, JPG process is not the same Overlay that is configured and defined by the user in the Viewer.

    The Images with Overlay Burned in on Export should have the same Overlay as defined by the user in the User Preferences inside of the VIewer.

  11. Additional Blade Sizes for SmartPACS OrthoPlan

    Per Skylos sports medicine -They would like to request Veterinary Orthopedic templates be added to SmartPACS Orthoplan. They purchased TPLOE 10mm and 1.5mm

    Original Email: We recently purchased a 10mm TPLO blade and 1.5mm TPLO plates from Veterinary Orthopedic Implants. Neither have a template in Orthoplan. Is this something that can be added?

    Addition of the TPLO 1.5mm plate is being addressed in ticket ID 37510852. This ticket is specifically related to the addition of the 10mm TPLO/CBLO blade from VOI.

  12. Visibility of Transferred Study info for Manual Moves

    It would be helpful to view the studies already sent via manual move in case a clinic is unsure if they transferred a study. Currently you can see studies transferred, but not the patient ID or name for which study.

  14. We just switched from eFilm to SmartPacs and the images from do not load nearly as quick from the capture computer to our sever for veiwing

    Not sure where the slow down is or if there is a solution. We still have eFilm on our computer and I will often look at rads there since they are not up on SmartPacs yet

  15. Hot Keys for Window Leveling

    We would like to have hot keys assigned (or be able to assign) hot keys for each of the different window leveling presets. Much like eFilm does with the Function Keys

    Shortcuts i.e. Hot Keys are now available for Window Level Presets. Read More 

    • The Viewer User Preferences Shortcut tab now includes W/L presets created by system defaults or custom user presets. 
    • The User can now set a Hot Key as a shortcut for each W/L preset.

    This has rolled out to all systems via Automatic Update.  If this is not available on your system, please contact Sound Customer Support for assistance.

  16. Show weight entered for study

    Would like a way to be able to see the weight entered for the study after the fact.

  20. Ability to import multiple studies to multiple patients

    Example. We have a UltraSound system that stores the studies locally until they are imported into SMARTPACS and there are about 15 of them on there that are not currently syncing across the network, The workaround is to export to USB then import manually into SMARTPACS but we can only do so on a per patient basis. We would like to import the entire folder of studies and then assign them to the relevant patient after the import. The current method only supports importing to a single patient through this method.
