  2. There should be an option to allow cine loops to autoplay by default. Cine play should also be hotkey assignable to eliminate the need to continuously click the play button for each stack.

  3. Add a column to indicate the modality in the study list. It would allow us to quickly find the images of a modality without doing an advanced search.

  4. Currently, we are only able to arrange studies by date. There is no way to arrange studies taken on the same day by timestamp. For example, if you have 40 studies taken during the day, there is no way to quickly sort these 40 studies into which have been taken most recently.

  5. Customers email JPEG images and the size of the JPEG images exported limits the number of images that can be attached to a single email. If the user could adjust the JPEG compression to make the images smaller on export, more images can be attached to a single email.

Users want the same level of compression by default for Local Export of JPEG with or without the Overlay burned into the image.

Users want to specify the level of compression on JPEG export.

  7. When you export to a network device the window just disappears and there is no confirmation that it will send. This causes the user to be unsure and resend studies causing further backlog due to resends.

Thank you for the feedback.  We will look at how export confirmations can be optimized in a future development cycle.

When a study is exported, the user should review the export queue for confirmation of the status of transmission.  If the export is local, the Local Queue will have the current status of the export.  If the export is over the Network, the Network Queue will have the current status.  This is the best way to view and verify the export completed successfully as the queue will display the progress and will display the transmission is complete or if there was an error.

More details on the Local Queue can be found here:
    https://apps.soundvet.com/smartpacs/docs/studyList/studyList/utilityBar/export#local-export-queue
More details on the Network Queue can be found here:

  8. On eFilm, we could select all the images of a cineloop or a CT series and export it as an AVI video. In addition, we could also select the quality (via slider) and the FPS for the exported video.

  9. When using the linear measurement tool for short measurements the box with the numerical measurement gets in the way covering the area you need to measure. It is not possible to accurately place the far dot

  11. Those of us that do X-rays for pregnancy head counts on valuable dogs (and have had a DR system with efilm that had the Clahe filter) are able to intensify the skeletons of the puppies within the mother with a "click" of a button and so we are accurate with expected headcounts.

  12. Add an autorun file when exporting images in DICOM format allows customers to easily view images sent to them on CD or thumb drive. The current process to open a zip file can be confusing for some referring clinics and customers.

The current SmartPACS local software is not able to send and receive images without a public static IP assigned to the local system.

You are able to share and email links to studies from our partner Cloud platform.

We will also keep this ticket open for future consideration in our next PACS software revisions.

  14. When scrolling through individual frames of a cine loop of a heart beating, I would like to make measurements that are auto-saved without having to name them each time. Then I can just click "display next annotation" to see all of my measurements.

  15. When a segment of an image is cut and rotated, the Viewer displays the degrees of rotation around the center of rotation.

When a TPLO or CBLO measurement is performed, the system calculates and displays the number of mm's of rotation that is required to achieve the desired final TPA.

This request is to add a User Preference setting to change the cut rotation from displaying degrees rotated to mm rotated. In the case of an advanced measurement cut i.e. (TPLO, CBLO, etc) the user can rotate the cut a given number of mm to match the final TPA calculated…

  16. The annotation text in the viewer is a set font size.
A User Preference setting allowing this font size to be larger would be helpful.
Similar operation as the SmartPACS Study List setting.

  17. OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) require images to be submitted by either DICOM or jpg/jpeg format ONLY. Images must be attached to an email and may not be submitted through any online viewing service (AIS, View Cloud, etc).

  18. Although SmartPACS has a built in Viewer Radiologists often use Osirix during residency and are accustomed to using the software and reporting within the software. These users need to get data from the PACS server to their local viewer/ reporting software. Without the support of C-GET, users must have a static IP address to retrieve the image data and obtaining a static IP can be quite difficult or impossible based on the user network configuration / workflow.

Users need to be able to use C-GET to obtain image data from SmartPACS into a 3rd party software application.
