Can our server receive images from other digital systems (ex: another hospital)?
Can our server receive images from other digital systems (ex: another hospital)? As well as send our images to other hospitals. So we can share mutual client information.
3 votesThe current SmartPACS local software is not able to send and receive images without a public static IP assigned to the local system.
You are able to share and email links to studies from our partner Cloud platform.
We will also keep this ticket open for future consideration in our next PACS software revisions.

Autosave Measurements without naming Annotation
When scrolling through individual frames of a cine loop of a heart beating, I would like to make measurements that are auto-saved without having to name them each time. Then I can just click "display next annotation" to see all of my measurements.

OrthoPlan - Rotation of cut to display distance in mm instead of degrees
When a segment of an image is cut and rotated, the Viewer displays the degrees of rotation around the center of rotation.
When a TPLO or CBLO measurement is performed, the system calculates and displays the number of mm's of rotation that is required to achieve the desired final TPA.
This request is to add a User Preference setting to change the cut rotation from displaying degrees rotated to mm rotated. In the case of an advanced measurement cut i.e. (TPLO, CBLO, etc) the user can rotate the cut a given number of mm to match the final TPA calculated…

SmartPACS Viewer - User Preference - Set Annotation Font Size
The annotation text in the viewer is a set font size.
A User Preference setting allowing this font size to be larger would be helpful.
Similar operation as the SmartPACS Study List setting.1 vote -
OrthoPlan Cut Out - Green Line is UNDER measurement lines
When a surgeon is applying the Magnetic Lasso Cutout, the Cutout line appears UNDER the other measurement lines in the image. The result is low visibility on where the active cutout is located and adds to the user confusion. While the cutout tool is active, and the shape has not yet been completed / cut, the green line should appear on top of the measurement line for better visibility to the user. See attached image.png for reference.

OIDC Support for SSO
With SAML and Okta, there would need to be one Okta app set up for each hospital to redirect the login to the correct SmartPACS system. This is the expected design and operation of SSO with SAML. Unfortunately this is not scalable and OIDC (OpenID Connect) should be implemented as another way to support for SSO.

Save a search query to pull the studies from yesterday only
I want to set a query search for "yesterday" from the current date. Let's say I set it on Tuesday 11/14 for "yesterday" 11/13, how I would like it to function is that anytime I search within the "yesterday query" is searches yesterday's images from the current day. If it's Tuesday it searches Monday's studies, if it's Wednesday it searches Tuesday's studies etc. As of now, there is no way to save a search query to pull the studies from yesterday only.

Add Display Field in Study List/ Study Tile - Institution

Double Click to View
When on the Study tile, the user should be able to double click to open the study in the Viewer.
Currently the user has to click on the View icon on the study tile to view a study. If the user wants to view more than one study, currently the user has to check the box to select one or more studies/ patients and then the View icon to view studies.

Add Support for C-GET
Although SmartPACS has a built in Viewer Radiologists often use Osirix during residency and are accustomed to using the software and reporting within the software. These users need to get data from the PACS server to their local viewer/ reporting software. Without the support of C-GET, users must have a static IP address to retrieve the image data and obtaining a static IP can be quite difficult or impossible based on the user network configuration / workflow.
Users need to be able to use C-GET to obtain image data from SmartPACS into a 3rd party software application.
