VD and DV Porcine views
Add dorsal ventral and ventral dorsal options for porcine abdomen and thorax views. Currently, there are no options in either "right" or "left" body. We have taken the VD or DV views under the "Lat" option and then used text annotation to indicate the actual view taken. However, that does mean that all the views taken this way have an inaccurate description that is automatically generated and depicted on the radiograph based on the name of the view we registered the xray under: Lat abdomen, Lat thorax, etc.

Add a generic note textbox in patient editor and/or study list
Having the ability to add notes in the acquisition PC like "images 4 and 5 were actually taken on x date" or "this patient's ID is x on AIS" would be helpful when dealing with un-fixable discrepancies between services.

ADD HIND AUTOMATIC MARKERS
Add LH and RH to the possible automatic markers for an image. This would be a huge time saver for equine practitioners.

Easy Copy and Paste multiple lines of texts (like for OFA Use) in annotation mode
It would be useful to have the option to copy and paste text in annotation mode so when doing studies like OFA we don't have to retype large numbers multiple times.

Allow the Vet dropdown to be auto-populated from a worklist
Currently, when a worklist request is submitted to SDR, and the Referring Physician field has a value, it does not populate the Vet dropdown.

Easy access to normal anatomy
I would like to be able to have access to normal anatomy that could be easily accessed and pulled up side by side of the current film. It would be easier for owners to understand their pet's abnormality. Idexx has this feature and it was a very attractive tool when I was looking at systems.
5 votesThank you for the feature request. In the past we had a set of normals placed inside our PACS, not the DR acquisition station. If we put normals in the PACS would that satisfy the request?

Region Nickname Overwrite original name
Requested on behalf of Rood and Riddle. Ability to rename the Left Keeneland repository and other regions.

You would like the nicknames/slangterms to overwrite the region/exam/position names? This could be configurable, but we would still need to send the original names in DICOM. Does that work?

An option to set the overlays to default off, but be able to toggle on on occasion.
Want to be able to burn in overlays for jpegs but not have them show on the images when taking them.

Delete Data by Date Range

Software upgrade notification
Customer wants another method of notification outside the software. She stated her techs kept ignoring the dialog and she wasn't aware an update was needed until they experienced a different issue.

Can you add a database field for staff that is not called Tech? Or change to Staff?
In California, RVT's have title protection. The term "Tech", that is used in the software to input the person taking the x-ray, should be changed. When we started with this sioftware we were asked to provide a list of all staff members that may be taking an x-ray.There should be the choice of "Tech" and "Staff" or Staff only (if we are limited to one term). The use of the term "Tech" for all staff members, licensed or unlicensed, would be illegal in Calif and is not respectful to the licensed individuals working in veterinary hospitals.

Expanded Foreign Language Support
When changing the language settings in SmartDR, it would be nice to have the anatomical regions, body parts examined, and view positions to also be displayed in the selected foreign language.

In SmartDR we call the view position’s “shots”. We will not be able to change the “Shots” labels but we will change anatomical regions and body parts examined.

Add Accession Number to Overlay Editor
Would like the ability to display the Accession Number DICOM tag in the Overlay Editor
